How to Read
a Jackpot Meter

Four readings, four different questions. Most players only read the first one.

Readings

The four numbers

1
The jackpot meter percentage
How full the pool is right now, from the provider’s own system, at most 10 seconds old. The headline number and the least informative on its own.
2
The 5-level win rate signal
Recent pool movement compressed into five bands so you can scan hundreds of games quickly. It describes the recent past.
3
The time columns: 10M, 1H, 3H, 6H
Movement across four windows. Direction and pace. The 10 minute figure is noisiest; the longer windows give context.
4
The daily scatter level
An aggregate of the day’s activity for that game, reset daily. Tells you whether today has been busy or quiet.

Together

Reading them as a set

A single percentage tells you almost nothing. The pattern across the four readings is where the information is.

✓
Climbing across all four windows — a sustained trend rather than a single event.
✓
High percentage, flat movement — the pool built earlier and has since stalled.
✓
Low percentage, sharp positive movement — often a game that recently reset and is rebuilding.
!
Sharp negative movement — usually a payout just occurred, which is what meter base describes.

Limits

What no reading tells you

No meter predicts a spin — slot outcomes come from a random number generator and every spin is independent of the last. how slot RNG works explains the mechanism, and methodology sets out exactly what our readings do and do not show.

Readings come from direct provider API integrations across 814 games and 15 providers, refreshed every 10 seconds. methodology documents the full pipeline and its limits.
