Is Scatter Meter
Legit?
A direct answer, the evidence to check it against, and a clear warning about the fake apps trading on our name.
The Answer
Yes — and here is how to check
Scatter Meter is a free data tool that displays live jackpot meter readings for 815+ Philippine online slot games, sourced from a direct API integration with 15 game providers. It is not a casino, it does not take deposits, and it does not require an account.
You should not take that on our word. Here is what you can verify yourself:
✓
No account, no download, no payment. Open the site and the data is there. Anything asking you to register or pay to see meter readings is not us.
✓
The methodology is published in full. The
methodology page states the data source, the 10-second refresh interval, exactly what each signal is calculated from, and where the data stops being reliable.
✓
The limits are stated, not hidden. We say plainly that no meter predicts a spin, and we explain
why RNG makes that impossible. A tool trying to scam you has no reason to tell you that.
✓
The funding is disclosed. Casino partner referrals pay for the data. We say so on the
editorial standards page rather than hiding it.
Boundaries
What Scatter Meter is not
Not a casino
Scatter Meter operates no gambling service, holds no player funds, and takes no deposits. You play on licensed casino platforms, not here.
Not a prediction tool
It reports current and recent jackpot pool state. It does not forecast spins, and no tool can.
Not a cheat or hack
It reads data the providers make available through their own APIs. It does not alter, interfere with, or exploit any game.
Not an app
Scatter Meter is a website. There is no official Scatter Meter app and no official APK. Anything presented as one is not ours.
Fake apps and APKs are using our name
Search results and social posts advertise "scatter meter app", "meter guide scatter APK", and similar downloads. We do not publish an app or an APK. Files like these commonly carry malware or harvest casino logins. The only genuine Scatter Meter is this website, scattermeter.com, opened directly in your browser.
Red Flags
How to spot a fake meter tool
The pattern is consistent enough to be useful. Treat any of these as disqualifying:
✕
It promises guaranteed wins, "100% accurate" signals, or tells you a jackpot is about to drop.
✕
It asks you to download an APK, or to install anything outside an official app store.
✕
It asks for your casino login, your GCash details, or a payment to unlock "VIP signals".
✕
It will not say where its data comes from, or claims a source it cannot describe.
✕
It never mentions RNG, or tells you outcomes can be predicted.
Honestly
What we would say if you asked us in person
Scatter Meter gives you better information than guessing. That is the whole claim, and it is a real one — knowing a pool's actual state beats a screenshot from three hours ago. What it does not do is change the maths of the game you are playing. The house edge is in the RTP, the outcomes are RNG, and no dashboard alters either.
If you are using this site to decide which game to open tonight with money you can afford to lose, it is doing its job. If you are using it hoping to win back something you cannot afford to have lost, no tool on the internet will help, and our responsible gaming page is the more useful page to read.
